It's the 12 year anniversary of the high-profile murders of a South Florida mother and daughter.
Nancy Bochicchio and seven-year old Joey were found bound and shot to death in their SUV in the Boca Raton Town Center Mall parking lot on December 12, 2007.
Two suspects were questioned, but nobody's ever been charged.
Captain Matthew Duggan, in a video the Boca Raton Police Department put together ahead of the 10th anniversary, explains why these reminders are necessary.
"We need to keep this in the mind of the public. We need to keep this out there, because we firmly believe that somebody knows something."
The case was similar to the kidnapping of a mother and son from the same mall in August 2007. In that case, as in the one involving the Bochicchios, the victims were taken at gunpoint to an ATM and forced to withdraw a large amount of money, before being brought back to the mall parking lot.
The mother and son survived and FBI Agent John McVeigh thinks others might have also survived.
"If you are somebody that this happened to and you never reported it, come forward now. We'll do what we can to protect your identity."
The two cases spurred authorities to offer the largest reward in Florida's history, $400,000.
