President Donald Trump is going to spend the next few days working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, as he recovers from COVID-19. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said the decision was made out of an abundance of caution.
"President Trump remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day," McEnany said. "Trump will be headed to Walter Reed Medical Center shortly — Out of an abundance of caution, and at the recommendation of his physician and medical experts, the President will be working from the presidential offices at Walter Reed for the next few days. President Trump appreciates the outpouring of support for both he and the First Lady."
President Trump has been dealing with a fever most of the day, and his physician, Dr. Sean Conley, said he had been given a dose of Regeneron, which is an experimental antibody treatment.
"In addition to the polyclonal antibodies, the President has been taking zinc, Vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and a daily aspirin," Conley said.
Dr. Conley said that Melania Trump is experiencing a mild cough and headache. The rest of the First Family has been tested for COVID-19, and the results have all come back negative.
