50 Cent has not only retracted his endorsement of Donald Trump for president, he's also now backing Joe Biden for POTUS, according to his ex-girlfriend Chelsea Handler.
In an interview with The View on Wednesday (October 28), the comedian revealed that her ex "wasn't serious" when he said he planned to vote for Trump earlier this month.
"I DM'd him and I said, 'Can you please call me about this?'" Chelsea shared, recalling how she got in contact with 50 after he wrote on social media that he planned to vote for Trump because of Biden's tax plan. "'I really I want to know if you're serious about supporting Trump.'"
She then said that she and 50 ended up speaking on the phone for about half an hour. "He wasn't serious. He was just screwing around on his Twitter. He is supporting Joe Biden. He made that very clear to me."
"I did promise to pay his taxes and then I found out it's illegal to pay somebody to vote for your candidate. So I offered him another form of payment and we'll see if he takes me up on it," she joked. "But I don't have to pay him. He's already a Biden supporter."
Over the weekend, 50 took to social media to distance himself from POTUS after Chelsea called him out for his previous endorsement of Trump while appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Saturday (October 24).
“[50] says he doesn't want to pay 62 percent in taxes, which by the way isn't a plan of Joe Biden's, that's a lie. So, he doesn't want to pay 62 percent of taxes because he doesn’t want to go from 50 Cent to 20 Cent and I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,” Chelsea told Jimmy. "I haven't heard back from him yet but I am willing to seal the deal in more ways than one if he changes his mind and publicly denounces Donald Trump. I might be willing to go for another spin if you know what I'm talking about."
It didn't take long for 50 to take Chelsea up on her offer as he wrote on Twitter hours later: “👀a what, 😳another spin 💫F**k Donald Trump, i never liked him. for all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL"
Chelsea then replied to his tweet, writing, "Honey- does this tweet me we can count on a vote for you for @JoeBiden ? I’m happy to discuss this with you privately. My phone number is still the same. Your’s isn’t. I’ve tried calling you."
