Dallas rapper Lil Loaded turned himself in to Dallas County authorities on Monday after he was accused of fatally shooting 18-year-old Khalia Walker in October.
Lil Loaded, aka Dashawn Robertson, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for murder relating to Walker's death, Complex reported.
Walker, who also went by Savage Boosie, was shot in the stomach while outside of his house in southwestern Dallas on October 25. Robertson and another man were seen standing over Walker after he was hit, according to an affidavit.
Robertson and the other man drove Walker to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Walker's sister was at the scene after the shooting and "picked up [Lil Loaded’s] phone and saw a video taken on the phone showing the suspect shoot the complainant," according to the affidavit.
A source told Complex that the shooting was an accident and happened while Robertson, Walker, and the third man were recording a music video, but that has not been confirmed.
Robertson fled after shooting, but he posted a video of Walker on Instagram with "So much love fa u they thought we had the same mama 🙏🏾😔 ima see u soon."
Robertson started getting national attention with his track "6locc 6a6y" in 2019, which he released of remix of with NLE Choppa earlier this year. He's now being held at the Dallas County Jail on a $575,000 bond.
