Clarence Thomas' Wife, Virginia 'Ginni' Thomas, Voices Support For Rioters

The Capitol Hill riots have allowed some to show their true colors. Following the incidents of January 6, Clarence Thomas's wife, Virginia "Ginni" Thomas, showed her support for the rioters. In a short Facebook post, she showed "love" to the mob as they damaged property, stole items and encouraged violence.

"God bless each of you standing up or praying," she tweeted.

Thomas's messages come as no surprise to those who have followed her work. Previously, she condemned the efforts of the Black Lives Matter movement to end police brutality, discrimination and racism. She did so by taking issue with a message from Clifton, Virginia Mayor William Holloway to his Black residents.

“Welcome to Clifton where Black Lives Matter," Holloway stated.

“Would you please remove the BLM sign from Clifton?” Thomas asked.

As leaders of this community, you should be smarter than promoting such a group as this, who uses race to foment chaos to destabilize the nation.”

Adding on, Thomas reportedly serves on the board of governors for CNP Action. The right-wing nonprofit has been accused of providing 80 buses for people interested in attending the "Save the America" rally before the riots took place.

Unfortunately, Thomas's behavior is not unique. Hundreds stormed the Capitol after being inspired by the President to do so. More than four dozen were arrested and five have died. The President's actions leading up to the riots resulted in bans from Twitter, Facebook and several other platforms. Members of the Capitol Police Department were pushed to resign and plans to impeach the President loom.
