Rep. Cori Bush has requested that her office be moved after she was "berated" by Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene. Bush is making the move because she feels it is in the best interest of her and her staff.
"A maskless Marjorie Taylor Greene & her staff berated me in a hallway. She targeted me & others on social media," Bush tweeted Friday morning.
"I'm moving my office away from hers for my team's safety. I've called for the expulsion of members who incited the insurrection from Day 1. Bring H.Res 25 to a vote."
Shortly after Bush tweeted about the incident, a representative for Speaker Nancy Pelosi confirmed that the congresswoman is being moved to a new office space.
“This room assignment change was by the direct order of the Speaker,” the aide told NBC News.
Bush would not be the first person to have issues with Greene. In the past, Greene has supported Facebook posts calling for the execution of Rep. Nancy Pelosi. More recently, a video of Greene harassing teenage gun control activist David Hogg surfaced online.
“Congresswoman Greene’s misconduct has helped radicalize domestic terrorists and endangered the lives of her colleagues and fellow members of Congress," Rep. Jimmy Gomez wrote in a letter asking for Greene to be removed from Congress.
Despite the growing number of complaints about her behavior, Greene claims that Bush attacked her. In a tweet posted this morning, the congresswoman claimed Bush "berated" her and claimed that Black Lives Matter is a "terrorist" organization.
"Rep. Cori Bush is the leader of the St. Louis Black Lives Matter terrorist mob who trespassed into a gated neighborhood to threaten the lives of the McCloskey’s," she tweeted.
"She is lying to you. She berated me. Maybe Rep. Bush didn’t realize I was live on video, but I have the receipts."
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy has not yet issued a comment regarding Greene's recent behavior.
