Authorities in Bryan, Texas, are responding to reports of an active shooter at an office complex. According to KBTX, multiple people were shot, and several of the victims were in critical condition. The incident was over by the time police arrived.
Bryan Police Lt. Jason James told The Eagle newspaper that the suspect is not in custody and active manhunt is underway.
A witness identified a possible suspect, and officials have asked other law enforcement agencies to be on the lookout for a vehicle possibly belonging to the alleged gunman.
An intermediate school in the area was locked down, and students were not allowed to leave. The lockdown was lifted before the scheduled dismissal time, but students had to be picked up by their parents.
