For two decades, Floyd Mayweather Jr. fought the world's best on the world's biggest stages. Oscar De La Hoya, Manny Pacquiao, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez, Miguel Cotto and Shane Moseley all entered the ring with hopes of defeating Mayweather Jr. However, no one seemed to be able to land more than a few rounds against the former champion. After years of competing against the best of the best, the all-time great boxer ended his professional career by defeating Andre Berto by unanimous decision in 2015.
In retirement, Mayweather Jr. has continued to do much of what he did in his professional career. He's made time to travel, expand his business endeavors and box from time to time. In 2017, he accepted a challenge from former UFC champion Connor McGregor. Two years later, he picked up yet another win against Japanese kickboxing champion Tenshin Nasukawa. Continuing the trend of fighting an obscure opponent every two years, he's set to fight YouTube sensation Logan Paul at Hard Rock Stadium this weekend.

Fight Schedule
All roads lead to the main event, Mayweather-Paul. However, there are a few more things to be on the lookout for this weekend. Most notably, former NFL All-Pro Chad Johnson will be making his boxing debut against former mixed martial artist Byron Maxwell. Johnson enters the four-round bout as the underdog, but he believes that his years of boxing training with Mayweather Jr. will lead him to victory. Elsewhere, light heavyweight contender Badou Jack is set to take on Dervin Colina in a 10-round bout. Colina is a last-minute replacement for Jean Pascal who failed a drug test just days before the fight. Rounding out the card, former super welterweight champion Jarett Hurd is looking to end the longest layoff of his career against Luis Arias.

Fighter Bios
Boxing is not a struggling sport by any sense of the word. With fighters like Tyson Fury, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Anthony Joshua bringing in tens of millions of dollars each year, there is definitely money and interest in the sport. However, it is important to note that the national interest in boxing that was once there during the 1970s and 1980s is no longer there. Therefore, fight cards like these often introduce general audiences to new personalities and fighters. For those who are coming into this pay-per-view event with little knowledge of the sport or those who participate in it, here are a few short bios of each fighter on the main card.
Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. is arguably the greatest fighter of the last 20 years. Raised in a boxing household, Mayweather Jr. has grown up preparing for major events like this since he was a child. During his career, Mayweather Jr. defeated all-time greats like Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez en route to winning 15 titles across five different weight classes. He enters his exhibition match against Logan Paul with a career record of 50 wins, 27 knockouts and zero losses.
Logan Paul
Logan Paul is a YouTube sensation, podcast host, producer, actor and entrepreneur who grew up in Westlake, Ohio. Alongside his brother, Jake Paul, Logan Paul entered the world of boxing in 2018 at the age of 23. In his first bout, he squared off against fellow social media influencer, KSI. The two fought to a draw and returned for a rematch in 2019. At the end of the second fight, KSI earned a split decision against Paul. This Sunday, Paul will make the jump from fighting fellow social media influencers to professional boxers.
Jarett Hurd
Jarett "Swift" Hurd is a 30-year-old boxer out of Maryland. Hurd made his pro debut in 2012 and reeled off 18 straight wins before earning his first world title in 2017 by defeating future world titlist Tony Harrison. After winning the IBF super welterweight title in 2017, Hurd would go on to win the WBO and IBO super welterweight titles as well. Unfortunately, Hurd lost his three titles to Julian Williams in 2019. Since then, Hurd has only fought once. On Sunday, he will make the jump from super welterweight to middleweight.
Luis Arias
Luis Arias is a middleweight prospect from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He made his name as an amateur by winning the U.S. Middleweight Championship in 2008 and 2010. Arias made the decision to go pro in 2012 and has not looked back since. From 2012 to June 2017, he won 18 consecutive fights. However, he earned his first loss against Daniel Jacobs in November 2017. Entering this fight against Hurd, Arias has lost two of his last three bouts.
Badou Jack
At 37 years old, Badou Jack is a veteran boxer from Stockholm, Sweden. Jack has spent more than a decade building his resume in the professional ranks. He's shared the ring with current and former champions like Marcus Browne, Jean-Pascal and Adonis Stevenson. Along the way, he's picked up belts in two different weight classes. He was scheduled to have a shot at regaining his light heavyweight title, but Jean Pascal failed a drug test last week. Instead, he'll enter the ring as a heavy favorite against Devin Colina.
Dervin Colina
Not much is known about Dervin Colina, but boxing insiders do know that he has power. He's earned knockouts in 13 of his 15 pro fights. However, a number of those knockouts came against fighters with questionable records little experience. On Sunday, he'll have an opportunity to prove that his knockout power is nothing to sneeze at as he makes his U.S. debut against Jack.
Chad Johnson
Chad Johnson is a name that is familiar to many. Prior to making his pro debut, Johnson played wide receiver in the NFL for more than a decade. During his career, Johnson racked up more than 11,000 yards and scored more than 60 touchdowns. Between many of his pro football campaigns, Johnson would spend his off-season training with Mayweather Jr. The Florida native hopes that this experience will help him earn his first pro boxing victory on Sunday against Byron Maxwell.
Byron Maxwell
Byron Maxwell is a 33-year-old mixed martial artist from Virginia. In his career, he's earned two wins in four fights sanctioned by the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. With that said, he, like Johnson, has never boxed professionally.
