An Oklahoma woman who had been on the run for months was caught by authorities after she commented on a Facebook post made by police.
Images of Lorraine Graves were posted last Wednesday (July 14) by the Tulsa Police Department for its “Weekly Most Wanted” campaign. Graves, who is accused of being an accessory to murder, commented on the post asking about reward money.
“The Tulsa Police Department is looking for information about the whereabouts of Lorraine Graves,” the post read. “Lorraine Graves is charged with Accessory to Murder,” in the case of Eric Graves who was shot and killed earlier this year, it continued.
“Where’s the reward money at?,” a comment underneath the police’s post, made by Lorraine Graves, said.
According to ABC News, Graves had been on the run from authorities since March and her comment sparked a lot of attention online.
One person warned Lorraine about making the comment under the police’s post: “Giiiirl you better stay off social media they can track you!!”
“Ain’t gonna be as funny when you get processed,” another person wrote.
Graves was arrested the next day by Tulsa police after officers tracked her to a home in the city. Two other people suspected of being involved in the murder of Eric Graves face murder charges and are already in police custody.
Officials have not confirmed the relationship between Eric and Lorraine but said she has been charged with accessory to murder and is being held on a $500,000 bond.
