Black excellence and business smarts can run in the family, too. These famous Black sisters are not only known as being powerhouses in their own right, but also lucrative entrepreneurs. Some have their own side hustles, while others are investing or partnering up on the same ventures.

Venus & Serena Williams
Not only do the Williams shine on the tennis courts, but they're successful entrepreneurs, too.
Venus Williams is the CEO of her South Florida-based interior design firm V Starr Interiors, which is valued at $60 million as of November 2020, according to Cheat Sheet. Williams had a love for interior design and construction since she was a teenager, and V Starr is a culmination of that. She is also the owner of a fashion and beauty brand called EleVen.
Serena Williams also has a clothing brand, launching a direct-to-consumer line in 2018 called S by Serena. Forbes says she's invested in over 50 startup companies over the past six years through Serena Ventures. Her portfolio is worth at least $10 million.
Vanessa & Angela Simmons
These two sisters found popularity through their family's MTV show from the mid-2000s, but they also made something special from that stardom. Vanessa and Angela Simmons put their heads together and founded the shoe brand Pastry in 2007. In less than a year, the two sisters were already millionaires from this business.
Not only does the company design shoes for Hollywood stylists and costume designers, but they also make shoes for professional and university dance teams, according to Pastry's website.
Rashida & Kidada Jones
The two daughters of music legend Quincy Jones, Rashida and Kidada Jones have led different paths in their life. No matter their specific directions, both found success with their personal ventures.
Rashida Jones is an acclaimed actress and movie producer, but she's recently got heads turning when she teamed up with Microsoft founder Bill Gates for a podcast last year. In 2016, the Parks & Recreation star partnered with online jewelry retailer Iconery for an 11-piece jewelry collection. She also once did a jewelry line with DanniJoe back in 2013.
Kidada Jones, on the other hand, is a longtime fashion designer for the Walt Disney Company and has a trendy fashion line called Kidada By Disney Couture. The brand includes clothing and jewelry for adults.
