Less than a month after winning his pro fight in dramatic fashion, Muhammad Ali's grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, has announced that he plans to fight twice more before the end of the year.

According to a report from USA Today, Walsh will fight on October 23 in Atlanta, Georgia. His promotional backers at Top Rank have not announced who Walsh plans to fight, but the bout will likely take place on the undercard of a main event that features undefeated champion Shakur Stevenson and Jamel Herring.

If all goes well in his second fight, he is expected to have his third professional fight two weeks before Christmas at Madison Square Garden. Much like his second fight, his third fight will be on the undercard of a main event that features two top fighters, Richard Commey and Vasyl Lomachenko. Adding to the event, Walsh's third bout will likely take place on the 40th anniversary of his grandfather's final fight against Trevor Berbick.

Walsh is new to the professional ranks after fighting approximately two dozen amateur bouts. He made his professional debut against Jordan Weeks in Tulsa, Oklahoma earlier this month. Scoring a knockout win in under 90 seconds, he earned praise from his grandfather's former adversary, George Foreman.

"He’s got a natural antenna like his grandfather staying away from punches. That’s a natural thing. You turn your head at the right time. He’s going to be a fine little fighter. He’s got the stuff," he said.

However, other former champions like Larry Holmes have been more cautious.

“How good could he be? Well, listen, it’s hard to tell how good a guy’s going to be on his first fight, you know? He’s got to fight somebody. He looks like he’s got determination and a one-two," he said.
