Demaryius Thomas' Roswell, Georgia home was broken into earlier this month, and several items were allegedly stolen.
According to TMZ, several people broke into the late football star's home on March 13 — just three months after Thomas was found dead there.
A spokesperson for the Roswell Police Deptatment told the outlet, officers responded to Thomas' home after a family member told them there were "several unauthorized individuals inside." After reportedly questioning the people who were found at the home, three men were arrested: 29-year-old Vashone Jones, 27-year-old Perfect Robinson, and 30-year-old Malcom Daniels. The men were later charged with criminal trespass.
Thomas' mother told authorities "an ESPY award, a Brady autographed jersey, football memorabilia, a hyperbaric chamber, guns, cash and more were all taken in the incident," TMZ reported.
While the three men are being accused of breaking into Thomas' home, one of the accused, Jones, told authorities that "he used to live at the home and helped Thomas with his medical issues" prior to his death. He allegedly told cops that despite Thomas' death he still visited the home on weekends "to check on it," TMZ reported.
Thomas' mother, however, reportedly told police, no one was supposed to be in the home and that they'd changed the locks following Thomas' passing.
Police are reportedly still investigating the alleged theft.
Thomas’ body was found at his Georgia home on December 9 after cops received a call "in reference to a cardiac arrest."
Thomas, a wide receiver, was the 22nd overall pick out of Georgia Tech in the 2010 NFL Draft. He went on to become a Super Bowl champion with the Denver Broncos in 2015 and a five-time Pro Bowler.
He played with the Broncos, Texans, Patriots, and Jets during his nine seasons in the NFL and was lauded as one of the best wide receivers in the league.
