Kirk Franklin's son, Kerrion Franklin, has reportedly been arrested in Los Angeles after being pulled over by Beverly Hills police officers on Sunday (April 10). According to reports, the 33-year-old Bad Boys Club star is currently being held without bond.
Court records obtained by Radar Online show that Kerrion Rashad Franklin was pulled over by Beverly Hills Police and arrested just after 7:30 a.m. on a misdemeanor charge. He was reportedly booked into the jail nearly three hours later where he was assigned a permanent housing location.
There are conflicting reports surrounding the circumstances of Kerrion's arrest. Larry Reid Live claimed on Instagram to have spoken with Kerrion from jail, where the reality TV personality revealed he couldn't be released from jail until Tuesday (April 12) and was arrested for resisting arrest –– which he denies. Authorities reportedly found a gun in the car.
A court date has been set up with a California judge sometime this week, court documents indicate, though Larry Reid Live claimed in the clip that the gospel singer's son has to be extradited to Texas for a separate case.
Last year, an audio recording of an argument between Kerrion and his father surfaced online. The singer apologized to fans following the clip's release, stating that he lost his temper in the moment.
