Houston rapper Trae tha Truth partnered with multiple organizations in Buffalo, New York to deliver a truckload of groceries to the community where a self-proclaimed white supremacist shot 13 people, killing 10.

The East Buffalo community continues to grieve for the 10 people killed inside the Tops Market on Jefferson Avenue on May 14. The planned racially-motivated shooting turned the neighborhood's only grocery store into a crime scene and left mourning residents with few options to get food.

Trae tha Truth, along with multiple Buffalo-based organizations like Feed Buffalo, Until Freedom, Relief Gang, and more, delivered a truckload of necessities to East Buffalo on Wednesday (May 25). The rapper said he turned down an invitation to the White House to meet with families who've lost relatives to police brutality in order to help out the residents of Buffalo.

"Its A Lot Of People Traumatized Its Alot Of People In Need And Also Scared To Come Out After The Shooting, Its Also Hard For Families In That Area To Get Out to get Food and other needs," the rapper wrote on Instagram.
