During a must-see court hearing, a Michigan woman screamed at a judge as she argued her five-figure lawsuit against a "bad date" who she claims "deliberately and intentionally hurt her."

QaShontae Short first sued Richard Jordan in 2020 alleging that he intentionally inflicted emotional "distress" by not showing up for a scheduled date between the two. Jordan “did not show and left on [Short's] mother’s birthday and [her] mom had just passed away,” according to legal documents obtained by TMZ.

Through the suit, Short is seeking $10,000 in damages.

The pair's recent virtual hearing is now making waves on the internet for Short's heated exchange with their presiding judge Herman Marable Jr. over her knowledge of the law.

Video of the 10-minute hearing shows Short accusing her "bad date" of committing "perjury" because of a false statement he allegedly put on a legal document.

Judge Marable Jr. jumped in during Short's accusations to remind her that perjury can only occur in a courtroom because it’s committed under oath, which sparked an intense debate between the two.

“He put a document that stated a lie,” Short shouted at Judge Marable Jr. “Bottom line you said it was a criminal offense so I will send it to circuit court. Are we done here? Are we done here?... I know exactly what perjury means.”

The argument continued to escalate with Short and the judge eventually screaming over each other.

“Please do not insult my intelligence,” Short told Judge Marable Jr. “Do not do that. Do not insult my intelligence as if I do not understand what the word perjury means. Do not! If it’s a criminal offense then it’s a criminal offense.”

The exchange ended with the case being transferred over to the circuit court, where a different judge will have to decide the fate of the $10,000 lawsuit.
