Chadwick Boseman is finally getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On Monday (June 26), Boseman was announced as one of the honorees for the Hollywood Walk of Fame's 2024 class in the motion pictures category, per HuffPost.
Boseman's posthumous star comes years after he died of cancer at the age of 43. Before his death, Boseman famously portrayed T'Challa in the 2018 Marvel film Black Panther. He is also credited for his roles in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Marshall, and Get On Up.
Last year, Boseman was awarded a posthumous award at the Emmys for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance in Marvel’s "What If…?" series. The honor followed Howard University naming its College of Fine Arts after the actor.
Boseman will be inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2024 along with Gal Gadot, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Chris Pine, and Michelle Yeoh. Dates for the ceremonies haven't been determined, according to the Walk of Fame website.
