Davido Delivers Surprise Performance At Naomi Campbell's PLT Runway Show

In celebration of Naomi Campbell's new collection with PrettyLittleThing, Davido brought the house down with a surprise performance at the supermodel's runway show.

On Tuesday (September 5), the first day of New York Fashion Week, the Afrobeats artist hit the catwalk following the showing of Naomi's 90-piece PLT collection. Davido performed several of his chart-topping hits, including "Fall," "Unavailable," "Blow My Mind," and "Feel."

Naomi unveiled the collection, which was inspired by Naomi’s looks from the 90s and created alongside designers Victor Anate and Edvin Thompson, at NYC's Cipriani's in front of A-list guests, including Lori Harvey, Teyana Taylor, Coco Jones, Emily Ratajkowski, Lala Anthony, and Winnie Harlow. The supermodel even blessed attendees by hitting the catwalk in one of her designs to conclude the collection launch.

"I feel this collection was fun, chic, sexy, vibrant, inclusive, and fashion should not discriminate," Naomi told DailyMail following Tuesday's show. The supermodel additionally noted that she's "worked for years for everybody else," and felt that it was "nice to do something for me."

Naomi went on to discuss how this collection marked one of the few times fashion retailers have called upon a fashion model for a collection collaboration. "Whenever they think of working with someone, they never come to the actual models, they usually go to the celebrities," she said. "There are a few other models that have done fast fashion, and they were totally praised and adored and are loved. I don't think about other people when I say yes to something. If I understand it and I see what it can be then that's how I commit to the things I do."

The PrettyLittleThing x Naomi Campbell collection is now available on PLT's website.
