Tennis star Coco Gauff is going viral for her response on how she's going to spend her U.S. Open winnings.

On Sunday (September 10), Gauff, 19, won her first-ever Grand Slam, claiming a 2-6, 6-3, 6-2 victory against Aryna Sabalenka in the U.S. Open final at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Gauff became the first American teenager to win the U.S. Open since Serena Williams in 1999.

Fans questioned how the 19-year-old would spend her prize fund of $3 million after her U.S. Open win.

On Instagram Live, Gauff couldn't help but laugh at one fan's suggestion on how she should use the money.

"Somebody said, 'pay off debts'... I'm 19, I don't have any debt, I'm not in debt," Gauff said with a laugh. "I'm not in debt, I live with my parents still, so I'm not in debt. I didn't go to college so I don't have any student dues to pay."

"I'm not in debt, I'm too young," the tennis star continued. "My parents would never put me in that position to be in debts so yeah, I have nothing to pay right now."

The response went viral on social media, with a number of users praising the 19-year-old for not having any debt.
