A St. Louis man is suspected to have killed his missing ex-girlfriend.

Trenton Ivy is facing charges of first-degree murder after he was found in Wisconsin driving the car of ex-girlfriend Marquisha Williams, who was last seen with him a week ago in St. Louis, KSDK reports.

Detectives found blood, biological material, and Williams' items in the vehicle that Ivy was driving. Ivy told Wisconsin authorities that he killed Williams in St. Louis during a physical altercation. He then disposed of her body in an unknown location, according to police.

“Marquisha was very, very sweet, calm and nice. She loved her kids and we all loved being around her,” Sandy Bagley, Williams’ aunt, said. “My niece was so excited about Christmas and really looking forward to celebrating the holiday with us and her four children.

According to Bagley, surveillance video from December 20 shows Williams and Ivy dropping off their two-year-old son at a daycare in St. Louis.

“Maybe they were arguing that morning. The baby kept crying and the scene looked a little stressful,” Bagley said. “We knew something was wrong she is always on time when she picks up her children. We searched in the woods and all along Interstate 55. We just want to find her, lay her to rest and try to start healing. We want Trent to tell us where is Marquisha."

“It’s devastating. They separated earlier this year. She was trying to co-parent with him, but she had started seeing someone else. I will be okay, but it just hurts for the kids. Her baby boy is not the happy child he normally is because he’s crying a lot. He’s missing his mom. We will keep searching for her body,” she continued.

Police are still trying to find Williams' body.
