NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes has reacted to the viral photo of his "dad bod" following the AFC Championship game.
The viral photo stemmed from a screenshot from The CW's Inside the NFL footage of inside the Kansas City Chiefs locker room after they won the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Mahomes, 28, was shirtless as he gave his Chiefs teammates a pep talk in the locker room while they were celebrating their win and upcoming Super Bowl appearance. Many social media users called out the "dad bod" on Mahomes, who is regarded as one of the best players in the league.
"Yoooo why they have to do me like that!?!?!?," Mahomes wrote of the viral photo on X with the hashtag #DadBodSzn.
"Like I got kids!!!" he added, tagging accounts for the Chiefs, the NFL, and Inside the NFL.
Inside the NFL's X account responded to Mahomes' reaction, saying he was still "elite in our book."
ESPN draft analyst Matt Miller joked about the impact Mahomes and Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce, who went shirtless at the Chiefs-Bills game, are having on dad bods.
"You and Jason Kelce doing more for dad bods than anyone in history," Miller said.
Mahomes and the Chiefs are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII on Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
