A Black delivery driver has revealed she was told she couldn't deliver packages in certain towns because of her race.

In a now-viral TikTok, a woman, who identifies as Trina on social media, detailed her experience as a contracted delivery driver for FedEx over the past six years.

Trina said she's "shocked" that she's still being told there are certain towns where she can't deliver packages.

"When I ask why, they say that they're sorry that people are the way they are," Trina said.

The driver recalled an incident where she had time to spare before her next delivery. Trina said she decided to drive roughly 12 minutes to the next town over and kill time in a local Walmart. However, Trina said she received looks in the store that made her "immediately" leave and wait for her next delivery in a parking lot.

Trina said supervisors don't allow her to take certain routes because of her skin color.

"It's not because I can't do the route it's because of how the people in that town act or how past drivers have been treated in that town," she explained. "So now they just stick to putting people in that town that look like those people."

"So crazy," Trina added of the situation.

TikTok users shared their thoughts on Trina not being able to deliver in certain towns.

"The company should refuse to deliver period to those areas," one person commented.

"Baby don't be sad.. count your blessings .. some companies won't tell you & allow you to be put in danger," another wrote.

"I always thought these "sundown towns" were a myth 😳...but its true I see," a third user chimed in.
