Vice President Kamala Harris called out former President Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia.

On Tuesday (July 30), Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee for the 2024 presidential election, appeared at a rally in Atlanta to garner support for her campaign, per The Hill.

“The momentum in this race is shifting and there are signs that Donald Trump is feeling it — you may have noticed,” Harris told the crowd.

Harris went on to call out Trump for "pulling out" of the November debate after the former president said he would likely debate her at a previously agreed date in September.

“Well Donald, I do hope you’ll reconsider to meet me on the debate stage because as the saying goes, if you got something to say, say it to my face,” Harris said at Tuesday's rally.

Harris noted how Georgia will be a key state in the upcoming election as President Joe Biden won it in 2020 by fewer than 12,000 votes.

“The path to the White House runs right through this state and you all helped us win in 2020, and we’re going to do it again in 2024. Yes, we will,” Harris said.

The presumptive Democratic nominee emphasized her work against transnational gangs, drug cartels, and human traffickers during her time as the attorney general of California.

“In this campaign, I will proudly put my record against his any day of the week,” Harris said.
