A Wisconsin man charged with the murder and dismemberment of a 19-year-old college student who he went on a first date with allegedly plotted to kill her weeks before she went missing.

According to a newly unsealed court document obtained by WITI, 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson told a friend that he "intended to kill" Sade Robinson, 19. The friend submitted the information to Milwaukee police as a confidential informant.

Robinson died after going on a date with Anderson on April 1, according to the sheriff's office. On April 2, Robinson's severed leg was found near a 100-foot bluff by the water’s edge in Warnimont Park in Cudahy.

More remains were discovered in an area of Milwaukee. On April 6, a human foot was found adjacent to train tracks. Robinson's car was also found in flames.

Anderson is facing several charges including murder and mutilating a corpse in connection to Robinson's death. After Anderson was taken into custody, blood was found on a bed and walls leading to the basement of his home. The blood found in Anderson's home didn't match Robinson's. It's unclear whose blood was found in his home.

The confidential informant told police that they were in Anderson's home in March when the man showed them the basement. According to the informant, Anderson “planned on shooting Robinson and then dismember her body in the room” before “disposing Robinson’s body throughout the city."

In a statement, Anderson’s attorney, Anthony Cotton, addressed the allegations, saying the “information provided by people who refuse to identify themselves and wish to be labeled ‘confidential informants’ is often false and exaggerated.”

“While we have not been provided with the name of this individual, the information provided by him or her is completely untrue, and there is no physical evidence to support these baseless assertions,” the statement said. “This is another example of someone choosing to spew misleading information on this case, which is unfortunate for all parties involved.”
