The Rainbow PUSH Coalition Annual International Convention is set to kick off on Thursday (August 15), in Chicago, Illinois.
The annual convention "brings together thought leaders, activists, educators, policymakers, and community members to engage in meaningful dialogue, share innovative ideas, and foster collaborative efforts to address pressing issues."
This year's event will feature conversations about education policy, voting rights, women's rights, International policy, and civil rights.
Event Highlights:
- Education Policy: Discussions on reforms, innovations, and strategies to improve education systems and ensure equitable access for all children.
- Voting Rights: Pushing for a Federally Regulated right to vote and role of activism in driving systemic change.
- Women’s Rights: Workshops and panels addressing gender equality, women’s health, and leadership opportunities.
- International Policy: Insights into global issues and the role of the U.S. in promoting human rights and justice worldwide.
- Civil Rights: Deep dives into the ongoing struggle for racial equality and justice, and the role of activism in driving systemic change.
