50 Cent's docuseries surrounding the abuse allegations against Diddy is heading to Netflix.

On Wednesday (September 25), news broke that Netflix would join 50 Cent and his G-Unit Film & Television banner in producing the docuseries about Diddy's charges of sex trafficking and racketeering along with the string of sexual assault and abuse allegations against the music mogul.

The docuseries, first announced by 50 in December, is currently in production. Alexandra Stapleton is directing the project.

“This is a story with significant human impact. It is a complex narrative spanning decades, not just the headlines or clips seen so far,” 50 Cent and Stapleton said in a joint statement, per Variety. “We remain steadfast in our commitment to give a voice to the voiceless and to present authentic and nuanced perspectives. While the allegations are disturbing, we urge all to remember that Sean Combs’ story is not the full story of hip-hop and its culture. We aim to ensure that individual actions do not overshadow the culture’s broader contributions.”

50 announced the docuseries after Diddy's ex-girlfriend Cassie filed a lawsuit against the Bad Boy Entertainment CEO, alleging he had beaten and raped her for years. The suit was quickly settled but Diddy was later hit with more allegations of physical and sexual abuse by multiple different parties.

Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami were raided by federal authorities in March. The rapper is currently being held in custody at MDC Brooklyn after he was arrested and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy pleaded not guilty to the charges and is maintaining his innocence.

50 Cent said proceeds from the Diddy docuseries would go toward support for sexual assault victims.
