LeBron James, and his son, Bronny, made NBA history with their debut together on the court.

On Sunday (October 6), LeBron, 39, and Bronny, 20, played in the league together for the first time during the Los Angeles Lakers preseason matchup against the Phoenix Suns at the Acrisure Arena.

Bronny, who was drafted to the Lakers in June, was subbed into Sunday's game, joining his father on the court during the second quarter. During their time together on the court, LeBron set up a screen for Bronny to take a 3-point shot that he ultimately missed.

The father-son duo made history as the first to ever play together during an NBA game. The pair clocked in roughly four minutes together on the court.

Folowing the Lakers' 114-118 win against the Suns, LeBron said being on the court with his son was "definitely a moment that I will never forget.”

“It’s pretty cool for the both of us, and especially for our family,” the NBA superstar said. “For a father, it means everything."

“For someone who didn’t have that growing up, to be able to have that influence on your kids and have that influence on your son, be able to have moments with your son — and the ultimate, to be able to work with your son — that’s one of the greatest things that a father could ever hope for or wish for," he continued.
