Lil Wayne Endorses Donald Trump After 'Great Meeting': See The Photo

Lil Wayne is the latest rapper to publicly announce his support for President Donald Trump

Weezy seemingly confirmed his political stance this week after a “great meeting” he had with Trump on Thursday (October 29). The “Lollipop” musician took to Twitter last night to not only endorse the president but also praised The Platinum Plan Trump has proposed for Black Americans.

“Just had a great meeting with @realdonaldtrump @potus besides what he’s done so far with criminal reform, the platinum plan is going to give the community real ownership. He listened to what we had to say today and assured he will and can get it done. 🤙🏾” Wayne tweeted with a photo of the two smiling and giving the thumbs up.

The 38-year-old isn’t the only entertainer in the hip-hop community to meet with or support Trump.

Ice Cube, who laid the groundwork for The Platinum Plan, revealed he has been working with the Trump administration to develop the Contract With Black America (CWBA), which Cube initially released in July, a contract that was written amid the nationwide Black Lives Matter protests. The CWBA encourages politicians wanting the vote of Black Americans to support the economic plan, which increase Black employment, provide Black-owned businesses access to $500 billion in funds over the next four years and more.

Earlier this month, 50 Cent caught a ton of flack from fans after telling his followers to “vote for Trump” to oppose former Vice President Joe Biden’s proposed tax plan. 50 Cent, who later retracted his endorsement, was one of the first to criticize Wayne, tweeting, “Oh no WAYNE, I WOULD HAVE NEVER TOOK THIS PICTURE. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”
