#BlackInTheaters: 10 Black Movies & TV Shows Coming In September

Fall is here and there are a number of films and series to look forward to. In the coming months, Insecure and Dear White People will return for their final seasons, All American will make its grand return and Brian Tyree Henry will star in the Eternals. Before we get to those major releases, September has a few gifts in store as well. The Godfather of Harlem will air its season two finale and Power Book III: Raising Kanan will deliver its season one ending. Not to mention, Muhammad Ali will be the subject of not one, but two documentaries. Get ready for it all, right here!

Wu-Tang: An American Saga

Synopsis: "Wu-Tang: An American Saga is inspired by The Wu-Tang Manual and Tao of Wu, and based on the true story of the Wu-Tang Clan. Set in early ’90s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the show tracks the Clan’s formation, a vision of Bobby Diggs aka The RZA, who strives to unite a dozen young, black men that are torn between music and crime but eventually rise to become the unlikeliest of American success stories," Hulu writes.

Blood Brothers

Dear White People

Starring: Logan Browning, Antoinette Robertson, Brandon P Bell

Synopsis: "Reunited amid a pandemic, future Sam and Lionel look back on their epic final year together at Winchester — which plays out as a '90s musical," Netflix stated.

The Wonder Years
