Phoenix Suns Owner Robert Sarver finds himself in hot water yet again. NBA reporter Jordan Schultz has issued a tweet indicating that Sarver could possibly lose ownership of the team due to various workplace misconduct.

"The NBA is preparing for a massive story accusing Suns owner Robert Sarver of racism, sexism and sexual harassment in a series of incidents, sources say. With enough evidence to support such claims, there’s a real chance the league would forcibly remove Sarver," Schultz tweeted.

Sarver has consistently been the target of criticism from fans and media members for his handling of the team and his unwillingness to pay for a new arena. However, allegations of sexual harassment and sexism have not arisen before. Sarver has not commented on the matter as of yet, but it will clearly become one of the bigger stories in basketball as the season kicks off.

If Sarver is forced out of the league, he will be hurt legally, but reporters expect that he will benefit financially. In previous instances in which an owner was forced out of the league, the team was sold to a new ownership group. If that is the case with Sarver, he could make upwards of $1 billion in a potential sale.

"If the Phoenix Suns are eventually sold to a new ownership group, the current team value is $1.8 billion, per Forbes. Robert Sarver purchased the Suns for $401 million in 2004," Basketball News reporter Evan Sidery said.

While matters are sorted out off of the court, the Suns will be forced to move forward on the court. Phoenix will play LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on ESPN tonight at 9 p.m. CT.

More details will be added to this story as they become available.
