That was quick!
It looks like JAY-Z is officially off of Instagram just one day after shocking the world by joining the photo-sharing app.
The hip-hop mogul followed just one person –– wifey Beyoncé, of course, who also followed him back, bringing her the number of people she follows to one.
In his brief time on the app, Jay amassed an impressive two million followers who got just one temporary post and throwback profile pic of the rapper. In his stories, Jay posted a trailer for the widely-talked about Netflix film he produced, The Harder They Fall, a western movie starring Regina King, Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors and more.
Mr. Carter's exit from the platform should not come as a surprise since the billionaire is rather elusive of social media altogether.
On Twitter, there's usually months in between tweets from his official account (@sc) and he's usually talking about his major career moments, like his induction into the Songwriter's Hall of Fame and most recently his induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
"Thank you to everyone in that video package , I'm definitely gonna cry in the car," he wrote. He also added after giving additional shoutouts that he was ready to lose the password to his bird app account for at least another year.
