Will Smith shocked the Oscars on Sunday (March 27) after walking on stage and slapping Chris Rock in the face. Before the night was over, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith's son chimed in online about the situation.
If you weren't watching the ceremony, you probably have heard about the OMG moment of the night when the King Richard star left his seat and slapped Chris Rock in the face. The "Everybody Hates Chris" creator was presenting the award for Best Documentary when he referenced Jada's bald head. Jada has come out publicly to address her ongoing battle with alopecia –– a medical condition that causes hair loss.
Though the sound was muted in the moments after the slap, video captured Will's message to Chris loud and clear: "Keep my wife's name out of your f––king mouth."
In response to his parents time at the awards, 23-year-old Jaden hopped online seemingly backing up his dad's slap.
"And That's How We Do It," the JUST Water founder tweeted.
In a since-deleted tweet, Jaden shared a selfie of himself, captioning the pic, "My Dad's Speech Made Me Cry," referencing the emotional acceptance speech Will gave after winning his first ever Oscar Award for Best Actor.
Will had been nominated twice before in his multi-decade career; once for Ali and again for The Pursuit of Happyness.
