Chris Rock's family is continuing to come to his defense after the infamous Oscar's slap — his younger brother wants to settle the score with Will Smith in the ring.
Kenny Rock, Chris' brother, is set to lace up for a celebrity boxing match this summer, but he's still looking for an opponent. In an interview with TMZ on Tuesday (April 12), Kenny called out Smith to put up his fists.
Kenny told TMZ that he doesn't think Chris and Smith should enter the ring against each other, but he's ready to take on the Ali star. Chris' younger brother said he's confident that he would beat Smith in a fight, despite their size difference.
"I'll let the hands do the talking," Kenny said.
Chris has chosen to stay silent since Smith was banned from the Academy for the next ten years. The comedian said he wouldn't speak on the slapping incident at the 94th Oscars again until he gets paid.
Kenny previously slammed Smith for getting physical with Chris, who mocked Jada Pinkett Smith's hair while presenting the award for Best Documentary.
It eats at me watching it over and over again because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it," Kenny told the Los Angeles Times. "My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment. You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show."
Although Smith made a public apology to Chris for the incident, Kenny said to TMZ that he doubts that his brother has accepted it.
