An Astroworld attendee says she suffered from a miscarriage after being trampled during the November festival, and she's suing Travis Scott, Live Nation, and other defendants for wrongful death.
According to Rolling Stone, Shanazia Williamson has filed a wrongful death lawsuit claiming she was "trampled and crushed (while in attendance at the festival) resulting in horrific injuries and ultimately the death of her and (her husband) Jarawd's unborn child." The lawsuit also states that Astroworld organizers failed to "plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event."
This is the 11th death linked to the November 5 Astroworld Festival, where nearly 2,400 people needed medical treatment in its aftermath.
As of Thursday (May 12), it's unclear when the Ohio native miscarried or how far along she was in her pregnancy at the time of the festival.
The news of Williamson's case came unexpectedly after a court filing this week listed 11 deaths instead of 10, which was the previously reported number of fatalities from Scott's Astroworld.
Williamson's lawsuit had been filed since December 27, but never acknowledged or reported.
Texas is one of the U.S states that permits would-be parents to sue for the wrongful death of an unborn child, ABC13 reports.
