Kaalan Walker has been sentenced to 50 years to life behind bars after he was convicted of numerous rapes.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the 27-year-old rapper, who was convicted in April of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication, was sentenced on Monday (October 17).

In October 2018, police connected the rapper, who went by the stage name KR, to a chain of incidents that involved him contacting aspiring models through social media, promising them opportunities for professional work, and sexually assaulting them once he was alone with them, his victims told police.

Walker was found guilty of raping six women and girls, three of whom were 16-year-old aspiring models, and four other women, in attacks dating back to 2013. Walker was also found guilty of sexually assaulting another victim and was acquitted of charges for three other individuals who accused him of assault.

In total, Walker was accused of sexual assault by more than 30 women.
