Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph has revealed what piece of advice she would give to her 15-year-old self.
On Tuesday (January 10) night, Ralph delivered a nearly perfect response when asked what she would tell her teenage self on the red carpet of the 2023 Golden Globes.
"There's nothing wrong with your nose," the Abbott Elementary star told InStyle. "There is nothing wrong with the shade of your skin. There is nothing wrong with the way your hair grows out of your head."
"And there certainly is nothing wrong with your lips because there will be some people called Kardashians and they will pay $10,000 for your lips," she quipped.
Ralph, who was nominated for best supporting actress in a television series, ended her advice by saying, "Hang in there 15-year-old Sheryl Lee Ralph. You're good."
The Emmy award-winner went on the celebrate a big night for Abbott Elementary, which snagged the Golden Globe for best comedy. Co-stars Quinta Brunson and Tyler James Williams also took home awards for lead actress and supporting actor, respectively.
Following Tuesday's broadcast, Ralph doubled down on her red-carpet comments, which went viral.
"I said what I said. Now, I'm going to bed. Goodnight," Ralph tweeted.
