Grammy award-winning artist Lizzo delivered an inspiring performance during music's biggest night.
On Sunday (February 5), Lizzo dazzled in a black dress encrusted with crystals as she performed hits from her fourth studio album Special at the 2023 Grammys.
The music star was introduced to the Grammys stage by one of her dancers, who shared how Lizzo has inspired "women of size, women of color, and people with all different gender expressions."
Lizzo began her set belting a few verses from "About Damn Time" before she was joined onstage by a choir of singers and dancers for her inspiring hit "Special." She received a standing ovation from a crowd filled with music's biggest stars.
Before taking the stage at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, Lizzo was nominated for five awards for the 65th annual Grammys, which was hosted by former Daily Show star Trevor Noah.
Lizzo's "About Damn Time" earned nods for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Special was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year.
