Jamie Foxx remains hospitalized nearly one week after his family announced that he had experienced a "medical complication."
As of Monday (April 17), Foxx, 55, is still being monitored and undergoing tests at a medical facility in Atlanta, Georgia, a source told People.
News of the actor's continued hospitalization comes after a source told CNN that doctors were "still trying to figure out what exactly happened."
“They are running tests,” the source said.
Foxx's daughter, Corinne Foxx, revealed in an Instagram post on Wednesday (April 12) that the Oscar winner had experienced an unidentified health issue.
“We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” read the shared Instagram statement from “the Foxx family.” “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.”
Prior to the announcement, Foxx was on set of his upcoming film Back in Action, which also stars Cameron Diaz.
The family hasn't given an update on Foxx's condition.
