The countdown to the 114th NAACP National Convention is on!
This year's NAACP National Convention, which will be held in Boston from July 28-31, is all about "thriving together" and celebrating our community's collective power. The immersive experience, held each year, attracts "innovative change-makers, thought-leaders, entrepreneurs, scholars, entertainers, influencers, and creatives to network and exchange ideas."
Last year's conference was held in Atlantic City after two years of virtual programming.
"Each year, the NAACP provides a platform for concerned citizens to step away from the front lines of the fight for civil rights to reflect, learn from each other, and plot the path forward," the NAACP said in a press release ahead of last year's conference. "Past conventions have featured Presidents and Vice Presidents, leading Members of Congress and Senators, activists, and organizers offering an opportunity to carve out the vital work we have to do to build a prosperous future as the nation faces competing civil rights crises and continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic."
