Chris Rock caught a trespasser filming him on the fire escape of his New York City home, according to reports.

On Sunday (June 4), Rock called 911 to report that "an unknown person" was on his fire escape, per Fox News. A law enforcement source told the outlet that the person "didn't attempt to gain entry, but Rock said he saw him filming."

"The victim states he observed through his window an individual outside on the fire escape," a New York Police Department report states. "The man appeared to be filming."

The intruder allegedly fled the scene in a White Mercedes before officers arrived.

According to authorities, no arrests have been made and an investigation is still ongoing. Rock hasn't spoken out about the incident, according to reports.

The comedian recently addressed Will Smith's infamous Oscars slap in his Netflix comedy special Selective Outrage, which debuted in March.

“Anybody who says that words hurt has never been punched in the face,” Rock quipped.

"It still hurts," he said of the slap later in his stand-up. "I got 'Summertime' ringing in my ears. But I'm not a victim, baby. You'll never see me on Oprah or Gayle [King] crying. It's never gonna happen."
