Keke Palmer's boyfriend is doubling down on a comment he made shading the outfit she wore at Usher's Las Vegas show.
Darius Jackson, who also shares son Leodis with Palmer, initially shared his disapproval of her sheer outfit after a video of Usher serenading the actress went viral, per TMZ.
"It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom," Jackson tweeted on Wednesday (July 5).
Jackson received widespread backlash on social media for his comment but still doubled down on his stance in a follow-up tweet.
"We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is," Jackson wrote later on Wednesday. "This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case."
Amid Jackson's remarks, Palmer showed off her outfit on Instagram and garnered overwhelming support for her wardrobe choice in the comments.
"I wish I had taken more pictures but we were running late! I am telling y'all right now if you haven't seen @usher YOU MUST GO!! HE WAS SO FABULOUS!!" the mother captioned her post.
Support is continuing to pour in for Palmer while backlash ensues for Jackson. Even Jackson's brother, Sarunas Jackson, has spoken out after catching heat from a fan over his sibling's stance.
"...we not the same man lol.. I literally haven't been having sex and been inside.. why am I catching strays?" Sarunas Jackson replied to a social media user's criticism.
