Rapper Plies has social media buzzing after he appeared to react to the news of Britney Spears' divorce from Sam Asghari.
On Thursday (August 17), Plies took to Instagram to share a video of him joyously singing along to Spears' 1998 hit "Baby One More Time" just one day after news surfaced of Spears' break-up.
"Baby One More Time... Send Me a Sign Baby!!!" the rapper captioned his video.
Plies has been known to share supportive comments under Spears' dance videos on Instagram. He even posted a video earlier this week enthusiastically reacting to the pop artist dancing on a pole to Nine Inch Nails' "Closer."
“My White Diamond Bih (From The Players Club),” Plies captioned his video. “Go To Pound Town Britt!!! Go To Pound Town Britt!!!!!! Man I Luh Britt Bih!!!”
Spears' husband reportedly filed for divorce this week after one year of marriage due to "irreconcilable differences," according to court documents. Asghari listed the pair's separation date as July 28, and he is seeking spousal support and attorney fees.
Fans couldn't seem to get enough of Plies' reaction to the divorce.
"Britney brings him so much joy, and I love it," one social media user commented under his Instagram video.
"Plies done took Brit Brit from her lil husband," another Instagram user quipped.
