Lizzo's dance troupe, the "Big Grrrls," is showing support for the singer as she's being sued by former dancers on allegations of sexual harassment and weight-shaming.

On Thursday (August 17), the Big Grrrls said in an Instagram post that they had the "time of our lives" on Lizzo's Special Tour, which ended last month.

"We have been so honored to share the stage with such amazing talent. The commitment to character and culture taking precedence over every movement and moment has been one of the Greatest lessons and Blessings that we could possibly ask for," the dance crew wrote on Instagram. "THANK YOU to Lizzo for shattering limitations and kicking in the door way for the Big Grrrl & Big Boiii Dancers to do what we love! You have created a platform where we have been able to parallel our Passion with a purpose!"

The support for Lizzo comes after three of the singer's former dancers filed a lawsuit against her in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging that she pressured one of them to touch a nude performer at an Amsterdam club and weight-shamed a performer after an appearance at South by Southwest (SXSW) music festival among other allegations.

“The stunning nature of how Lizzo and her management team treated their performers seems to go against everything Lizzo stands for publicly, while privately she weight-shames her dancers and demeans them in ways that are not only illegal but absolutely demoralizing,” the dancers' lawyer, Ron Zambrano, previously said in a statement.

In response, Lizzo took to social media to dismiss the "unbelievable" and "outrageous" allegations.

"Sometimes I have to make hard decisions but it’s never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or like they aren’t valued as an important part of the team," she wrote. “I am not here to be looked at as a victim, but I also know that I am not the villain that people and the media have portrayed me to be the last few days."

“There is nothing I take more seriously than the respect we deserve as women in the world. I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight,” the singer added.

Zambrano responded to Lizzo's dismissal of the allegations, saying her "denial of this reprehensible behavior only adds to our clients’ emotional distress," per NBC News.

“Lizzo has failed her own brand and has let down her fans,” the attorney said in a statement. “The dismissive comments and utter lack of empathy are quite telling about her character and only serve to minimize the trauma she has caused the plaintiffs and other employees who have now come forward sharing their own negative experiences."
