Serena Williams is officially a mom of two.
On Tuesday (August 22), the tennis star took to social media to reveal the arrival of her second child with husband Alexis Ohanian.
"Welcome my beautiful angel," she captioned a heartfelt TikTok video of her holding the newborn.
The video showed Williams sitting next to Ohanian and her daughter Olympia before the mom brought her second child into the frame. As the expanded family embraced, Olympia gave her new sibling a kiss.
The TikTok ended with a series of photos of the family.
Ohanian followed up the TikTok video with an Instagram post, revealing the newborn was a girl named Adira River Ohanian.
"I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful," Ohanian wrote.
Williams publicly announced her pregnancy on the Met Gala red carpet in May.
“There’s three of us here,” the tennis star told LaLa Anthony.
In another heartwarming video, Williams shared the moment when she revealed the exciting news to Olympia.
“Remember how you’ve been praying for a little sister or brother?” Williams asked Olympia in the video. “Well, we went to the doctor, and it turns out I’m not getting fat. But I have a baby in my belly.”
In preparation for the newborn, the family went to Europe in June for a babymoon.
