Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and LSU basketball star Angel Reese have earned high honors from Time Magazine.

Hurts and Reese were named on this year's "Time100 Next" list, which recognizes "100 emerging leaders from around the world who are shaping the future and defining the next generation of leadership."

Hurts, who led the Eagles to Super Bowl LVII, earned the magazine's cover spot along with singer/songwriter Kelsea Ballerini and Chef Mory Sacko. The star QB signed a $255 million extension in the offseason and is expected to be in Super Bowl contention for the 2023 season.

Peyton Manning praised Hurts' work ethic in a statement to Time.

"He’s not celebrating. He doesn’t see it as a reward. He sees it for what it is: the Eagles are paying him for what they expect him to do now," Manning said. "He’s a model of how to approach a job. This is where the hard work begins."

Reese led the LSU Tigers women's basketball team to their first National Championship last season. The star athlete helped thrust women's basketball into the spotlight and broke records with 34 double-doubles.

"Angel Reese is having more than just a moment. She’s just getting started," Candace Parker wrote for Time.

Other athletes who made the list include Braves star Ronald Acuna Jr., USWNT's Sophia Smith, American golfer Rose Zhang, Indian cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur, and Spanish soccer star Salma Paralluelo.
