A woman has been deemed a "Karen" after she interrupted a street performance in New Orleans, Louisiana.
TikTok user @usa.karen.kevin shared footage of the Karen incident at Pere Antoine's Alley.
Video shows the woman standing in the way of a performer's set and flipping off audience members.
"You were just stand right there - why would you come right here in our way?" a performer asked the woman.
After the woman refused to move from the area, the entertainers asked bystanders to call the police to remove her.
"Can somebody call the cops on her please? Can somebody call someone on her please?" a performer asked.
Other audience members began booing her for interrupting the performance.
In another video, the woman can be seen talking to New Orleans police officers. Bystanders yelled "take her home" while the woman was with authorities. The woman eventually was taken away from the area.
Social media users called out the Karen for her behavior.
"Honestly, these people cannot stand when we're trying to have harmless fun," one TikTok user commented.
"I really wanted to hear her defend why she stood there," another user said.
"I don’t understand what the motivation is for them," a third person wrote.
