Keke Palmer's former partner, Darius Jackson, is denying allegations that he's abused the actress and claiming her mother threatened to "put a bullet in his head," per TMZ.
Last week, Palmer filed for legal and physical custody of her son, Leodis, who she shares with Jackson, as well as a temporary restraining order against her former partner. Palmer claimed Jackson was "unhinged, volatile, and dangerous" and abused her "multiple times over the past 2+ years," according to court documents. Most recently, Jackson allegedly "trespassed into my home without my knowledge or consent, threatened me, then physically attacked me – lunging for my neck, striking me, throwing me over the couch, and stealing my phone when I told him I was going to call the police," Palmer said in the documents.
The actress provided picture evidence from home security footage in the documents.
On Monday (November 13), sources close to Jackson told TMZ that the latest incident stemmed from him wanting to pick up Leodis from Palmer's home to watch football. When Jackson arrived at the home, his son wasn't there, sparking an argument between the two, according to sources.
At one point during the argument, Palmer called her mom, Sharon, who allegedly told Jackson that "she'd put a bullet in his head." Jackson then attempted to grab Palmer's phone, which is what sources said is seen in the photos she provided in her court filing.
According to the sources, Jackson is maintaining his innocence, denying that he ever abused Palmer.
Palmer was reportedly granted sole custody of her son and the restraining she sought against Jackson last week. A hearing on the matter is expected on December 5.
