Actor Jonathan Majors is now accused of wanting his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, to make "sacrifices for him" as Coretta Scott King and Former First Lady Michelle Obama did for their husbands during the opening statements of his assault trial on Monday (December 4).

Michael Perez, who's representing Jabbari, claims Majors "demanded total compliance" from the Britian actress as part of what Perez described as a "cruel and manipulative pattern of psychological abuse" towards his now former partner, according to Complex.

Priya Chaudhry, Majors' attorney, alleges Jabbari is seeking revenge against the Creed III star for ending their two-year relationship. His legal team also claims the March 25 arrest for assault was motivated by racism.

A criminal complaint states Majors struck the actress “about the face with an open hand, causing substantial pain and a laceration behind her ear" at an apartment in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. Jabbari also accused him of strangling her, leading to bruises and swelling on her neck, according to the report.

Majors pleaded not guilty to several charges of misdemeanor assault, aggravated harassment, and harassment. He was facing a strangulation charge but that was later dropped. A judge rejected his motion to dismiss the case a month before the trial, which is expected to last two weeks.

The shocking arrest, alongside a bombshell report from Rolling Stone alleging a history of violence and abuse toward his romantic partners, has led to the Ant-Man star getting dropped from multiple projects and lucrative deals.
