Queen Bey is showing off her natural tresses!
On Monday (April 22), Beyoncé took to Instagram to share her Cécred “wash day ritual.” In a two-minute-long video, Bey showed fans how she takes care of her Blonde locks, which are usually concealed in protective styles thanks to her versatile wigs and weaves.
“Now that Cécred is known for the quality and what it does for your hair, I think it’s about time I show y’all what it does for my hair,” the Grammy award-winning singer said at the start of the Instagram video. Beyonce then showed how she uses Cécred's shampoo, conditioner, and rice treatment on her hair, while playfully shutting down critics.
"The stigma and misconception is that people that wear wigs don't have long and healthy hair. That's some bullsh*t 'cause it ain't nobody business," Bey quipped as she played with her waist-length locks.
Bey went on to demonstrate how she treats her natural tresses with care, blowing her hair out with "medium heat" before applying a flat iron. "I've chosen color over perms or relaxers," she explained. "I've managed to keep my texture and my curls even with my hair so blonde."
In the caption of her wash day video, she additionally explained how she's managed her hair throughout her decades-spanning career. "Maintaining 25 years of blonde on natural hair through all the experimenting I do has played a huge part in developing @cecred’s products," she shared. "It’s the hardest to keep color-treated hair healthy and strong, but @cecred is here. All quality, with NO shortcuts."
Bey launched Cécred in February with the help of her mother, vice chairwoman Tina Knowles.
