Actor/comedian Rob Schneider blasted Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock at the Academy Awards over two years after the incident.

During a recent appearance on an Australian radio show, Schneider, who's reportedly friends with Rock, weighed in on the infamous Oscars slap in 2022, per USA Today.

Schneider said Rock "didn't want to talk to anybody" following the incident.

"I don’t blame him. But it took him a while to get to a point where he could react to it because it was a lot. He's a very sensitive, great guy, and he’s literally a genius."

The former Saturday Night Live writer slammed Smith for walking onstage and slapping Rock over a joke the comedian made about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

"Will Smith has been hiding the fact of who he really is, and it was exposed that night that he's really an (expletive)," Schneider said. "It's a deep, dark thing to do that in front of all those people and to a really great, legendary comedian who's literally the best comedian of our generation."

Schneider also disagreed with a radio host who said she believed Smith was a kind person, calling the Bad Boys star a "liar" and an "utter fraud."

The comedian noted that he was barred from speaking about the incident as a member of the Academy Awards committee tasked with disciplining Smith.

"That's how politically correct the Academy is, that they were so cowardly,” Schneider said, adding that the organization was “worried about being racist.” “The point is, violence is what it is. And whether the color of your skin or your religion, it doesn't matter. If you commit a crime in front of other people, you get hauled out of there."
