Former President Donald Trump previously donated to Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign for another office.

According to HuffPost, Trump donated to Harris' campaign for California attorney general in 2011 and 2013. The campaign funds amounted to $6,000.

Trump's daughter, Ivanka, also once donated to Harris' attorney general campaign. Ivanka gave $2,000 to the campaign in 2014.

Democratic Rep. Jared Moskowitz flagged Trump's donation after President Joe Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Harris for president.

“Was a wise investment,” Moskowitz wrote on X, formerly Twitter, alongside a photo of a $5000 check for Harris' attorney general campaign.

Harris donated the campaign funds in 2015 to a nonprofit for civil and human rights for Central Americans. The donation came the year after she won reelection as attorney general and was eyeing a Senate seat.
